Description
In this lesson, Ss will learn weather vocabulary by listening to a song, watch a video, and have a controlled practice.

Procedure (15-22 minutes)
Lead in (2-3 minutes) • To generate interest in the topic.
I will ask the students how they feel today and tell them that I feel tired because of the hot weather.
Listening task (2-3 minutes) • To contextualize and introduce the target language.
Ss will listen to a song about weather. The song will include all the words I am going to teach.
Highlighting the target language (5-6 minutes) • To highlight the target language so that learners are focused on it.
I will show the Ss the flash cards that contain the words about weather.
Clarify target language • To clarify meaning so learners understand it. Clarify the pronunciation so learners know how to say it. Clarify form so that learners know how to construct it.
While showing the flash cards I will work on the meaning, pronunciation, and form clarification.
Language practice (3-5 minutes) • To provide controlled oral practice focused on using the language accurately.
Ask the Ss to connect the photos to the right words.
