The teacher starts by pasting pictures of people who quarrel on the white board and brainstorm some ideas about the pictures from the students.Then they are divided into groups to discuss about the pictures in their books, then read quickly the text and answer the the questions.They will have short discussion about the text after answering the questions about the passage.

Students work in pair to underline adverbs in the sentences from the texts on pages 26 and 27 of their books.They will match match the verbs with adverbs on page 28 , practice more verb+ adverb, verb + adjectives collocations.They will work in pairs to do the exercises .

Students will work in pairs to practice time expression in the context of events.They will speak about events in the past and present using what,when and preposition of time ( in,on at ).

This is the second lesson . the teacher pastes the pictures of meals of the day on the white board and elicits the names from the students and have short discussion to generate interest about the reading and topic.They will be divided in to groups each group first and last paragraphs of the text to brainstorm the text is about.,after this the teacher gives the the complete text to them. Students read and and discuss in their group to answer the questions.They will decide in their groups which two meals of the day they will have and why?

Student will learn expression of quantity such as much , many, some and any in the context of food and practice some exercises with their partners.

Students will act short role play on the order for meal in the restaurant using like would you like some....?, can I / could I .....?
