To provide accuracy and fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of All in a day's work.
Subsidiary Aims

To consolidate ss comond of questions,affermative,and negative forms of the present continious in the context of All in a day's work.
Procedure (35-47 minutes)
T writes on the board: what is your family doing now? T models first: My mother is cooking now. My son is playing. My husband is working at the office now. They discuss in pairs, then take WC FB.
T asks ss to use questions in EX9 to fill in Ex 10. Have them Check answers with partners. WC Feedback. T asks ss to give short answers to questions 2-3 taken from ss'book. Pronunciation drills for short answers. T gives ss the conversation (ex12) taken from ss' book. asks them to write the questions then Check with their partners. SS listen to the conversation to check their answers. WC FB.
SS listen and practice the conversation in 12a. T helps with the stress and the intonation. SS practice the conversation in role plays, T changes the roles.
SS will be divided in two groups A,B each group will get different picture about the same people and they will discuss in their groups what is each person doing? eg, Keven is sleeping. T puts ss in pairs from the two groups, they are not allowed to look at each others pictures They need to ask each other questions to find out the differences between the two pictures. Tell the ss that the purpose of the task is to finish first. The first pair to finish wins. T gets some feedback. Error correction.
T does some error correction noted while monitoring. Some pronunciation drills. If time , SS play an imagination game about their favorite place and they need to tell each other what are they doing and their partners need to guess their favorite place.
