To provide practice in listening for specific information in the same context
Procedure (27-35 minutes)
show a coffee store's video in our city Dumyat and ask them some questions like: *Do you like going to cafes to spend time out there? *what's your favorite coffee shop? *what's your favorite drink you always ask for order? *Do you like Arabian coffee shop or just modern one? ................
* Show the SS pictures about vocabularies like : filter coffee , Espresso , cappuccino , chocolate chip cookies and brownies *elicit each word from the students *asking concept-checking questions like: _what do you do with espresso ? _where do you have it? _does it contain caffeine? * drill each word * writing the word on the board * ask the students to listen to the dialogue and answer the two questions what do mark and Allie get? how much is it? *Ask them to listen again and complete the phrases *listen again and drill the you say phrases
*Ask SS to do exercise about vocabulary coffee and snacks * ask them to complete the words * demonstrate the first one *check their answers in pairs 2a_In the second exercise I will ask the students to complete the missing words in the sentence *demonstrate the first one *check their answers in pairs 2b_ Ask ss to put the sentences below in the first dialogue *demonstrate the first one *check their answers in pairs
