Procedure (28-45 minutes)
T will ask the Ss to focus on the picture of TV programme on SB p32 and ask students the names of the other two women on the programme. T will also ask Ss if it's easy to find a date here in Turkey, where and how to find a date.
T will pre-teach the words (journalist- a pet). T will tell the Ss the they will read information about two other women.
T will divide the class into pairs of As and Bs to read about Joe and Susie profiles. T will ask Ss first to skim the profiles to find out who has cats and who doesn't. Then Ss will scan each profile to answer the questions in ex 8. After they finish answering the questions, they will ask and answer in pairs the questions in 8a about Jo or Susie. T will them to find more things in each profile to tell each other about.
T will divide Ss into 3 groups by giving them colored cards to regroup them with different classmates. T will ask them to decide which women is the best for Mark's first date. Ss will discuss in their own group to decide whether to choose Jo or Susie and why? Then Ss will be be given Kim, Jo, and Susie dates information to answer 3 questions in ex10-c. T will ask them to check in pairs and will have a WCFB.
T will ask Ss to stand up and choose a partner they don't know much about to work in pairs. Ss will write the name of their new partner in the box and Start asking their partner about things they do or like.
T will ask Ss to stand up and find a new partner to ask him/her questions about their name, age, job, and where he/she lives, then they ask their 8 questions from ex 11b.
