Procedure (34-45 minutes)
- Write the word "Brand" on the board and ask students if that word reminds them of any particular company (Encourage students to come up with names) - ask students of they prefer to buy from brand names or not
- pre-teach the word "produce" -Ask students to look at the companies' names and read the questions. -Students think of answers individually. - In pairs students discuss their answers.
-Ask the students (What is it that makes a global company?) - Give them time to discuss the questions amongst each other. - Get feedback as a class. - If time, show the students meet the expert video and ask them to check their ideas.
-Ask the students to close their books - Write Apple Company on the board. - Elicit what they know about it.
- Pre-teach the word "century", "Growth" and "Giant" - Ask students to read the question "How did Apple Change between 1976 and 2012?" - Allow students to read the text individually. - In Paris, students check their ideas. - If time, Get feedback from the class.

- Allow students time to read the definitions - Students read the text quickly and try to find the vocabulary. - Students check their answers together. - Check the answers as a class.
