Subsidiary Aims

For the Ss to practice conversational speaking practice by utilizing new vocabulary in the context of appearance
Procedure (29-39 minutes)
-Set in the context by asking student if they know a good hairdresser. -T is going to color her hair so she is looking for a good and cheap hairdresser. - T asks them about how much will it cost normally to color hair?
-T asks Ls to look at the photos. -She elicits and pre-teaches some words by giving definition- CCQs: does the hairs grow up on men face ? (YES) - She goes over the pronunciation of the vocab and focus on the drilling and the stress - She reminds student about structure of asking about appearance : WHAT DOES SHE/ HE LOOK LIKE ? SHE/ HE HAS ......... - she put the photo of two people on the board and asks student to ask this question and answer it in groups of two. ICQ: • Are you working alone? (No) • Are you writing?(No)
T chests the exercise 1 she explains to SS that she is going to play as audio, they should listen and wrote 1-5 on in the blank boxes she plays the audio and assures that students are on right path once they finish they have 1 min to check their answers in groups of two correct answer will be read loudly T gives answer key to Ss ICQ: are you going to do the exercise alone? YES • Are you writing? (No)
T chest Exercise 2 and show the blank Gap to students and the box of vocab She explains that they should listen to the audio and fill the gaps using the vocab on the box above Teacher ask Ss to read conversation 1 to 5 in exercise 2 before playing the audio Ss need to do the exercise individually ICQs: are you going to write what you hear ? (YES) Ss compare their answers first. answer key will be delivered to them • FB
Students may use the phone in their mobile phone or google a photo and try to make a conversation
