Procedure (37-50 minutes)
T starts conversation with S, asking them about how was the weekend? where did they go? She tells them that she went to hairdresser to color her hair yesterday. she tries to lead the conversation to appearance by asking them questions about their appearance.
T will Explain the instruction of the test to S: She chest the paper sheet and shows the photo and the options to Ss She explains them that they should match the photos with the list of adjectives (A to M) below the photo. She tells them that they have 2 min to match the adjectives with photos. She tells them that Each photo have only 1 option from the list CCQs to assure that they noted about the test: 1. Are the adjectives to describe people look? (YES) 2.Are you going to choose 2 letters for each gabs ? (NO) she gives them the test she asks them: which of the adjectives were easy for them? which ones they guess the meaning? which ones they dont know the meaning?
She reviews the easy adjective to assure they know them correctly, she clarifies the ones that they are doubtful about. she teach the ones they have no idea about
she gives them the second test : She will chest the paper sheet she shows them the blank gaps, she explains that there are two columns, one for adjectives about appearance and one for adjective about personality she tells them to full the blank gaps by using the list of adjectives that they were taught. S should add two more adjectives to each of the lists They have 5 min to fill the gabs they have 2 min to check their answers in groups of two volunteer reads the correct answers T gives them answer key to assure them about correct answer T asks them to make sentences describing their appearance and personality by using 3 adjectives to their partner. she makes the first sentence to make them clear about instruction. they have 3 min to make sentences about themselves and other students. its time to report their partner sentences CCQS: the appearance adjectives describes the how does a person look ? (YES) the personality adjectives describe how is a person behavior? (YES) where are you going to find answer ? (Above list)
T shows the photo of three famous Turkish characters Ss makes 1 sentence to describe each photo volunteers read their sentences loudly T plans a game for Ss: on each piece of papers there is an adjective T offers them to choose a paper and to keep it secrete each students will come to the board to play pantomim to let others guess whats the adjective they are playing
