Tell Ss were going to read about some snacks from around the world now please read it quickly for 3 minutes and dont worry about words that you dont know. Then ask Ss if any of the snacks mentioned in the text are in the list on the board.

Ask Ss to read the text again and to do the exercise 1. Ss have got 5 mins for this.

Put students in pairs and ask them to discuss which one of the snacks they liked best and why? when they finish, have pairs report some of their opinions.

HO exercise 2- Match the apetizers with their country of origin. Ask Ss find the countries the food come from. Have them discuss groups.

Ask Ss brainstorm their healthy unhealthy snack habits. Write on board healthy vs. unhealthy put them in pairs- one pair write healthy the other unhealthy. Call them on to the board and have them write. Monitor, help when necessary.
