Procedure (42-54 minutes)
After some quick warm up and greetings , ask Ss to look at the following slide ; A slide with this question " what are you living for?" .
1-A hand out , page 66 students book is given to ss and ask them to fill in the blank. 6m ccq -is it a pair work? yes - do you have 5m ? no 6m -2 Listening is played to check the answers
1- read one by one the sentences and try to elicit the meaning , probably needs lots of CCq and icq . for each phrasal verbs there is a slide with more context and examples. Phrasal verbs are -living out -live on -live for -live through -live up to -live off MFP would be done for all of them
A hand out form work book is given to students . in pairs for 5m check the answer
A Phrasal verbs flash card are given to students. Ask students to choose one card and ask the partner to look at the flashcard and make a sentence about his/her life. for 4 m ccq -is it individual ex ? no -Do you have 5m? - do you have to answer with phrasal verbs? yes B Show the 1st slide again and ask students to stands and talk to partner about the question again , they have to use the phrasal verbs
