Procedure (41-51 minutes)
What was the headline on the newspapers on Sunday , after Saturday? Teacher shows a picture from Gezi Park. T: Did yo go to Taksim? T: What do you think of Gezi Park demonstration? T: In pairs, discuss Gezi Park demonstration. T. will write demonstration (n.) on the whiteboard. T: Have you been on Gezi Park demonstration? T: if there is a new demonstration in Istanbul will you go on a demonstration again?
T: In groups ( T will put Ss into 4 groups) T:Newspaper articles are on the wall. Teacher shows the title cut ups to the Ss. T: Match the titles with the correct newspaper articles on the wall.In groups. Teacher uses ICQ (Instructions Checking Questions) T: Stand up and match. Feedback: Teacher will use the whiteboard. T will check the students' answers on the wall T will write the correct titles on the WB. T elicits the necessary vocabulary through the title. T. uses WB. STRIKE (n.) (v.)
