To provide gist and detailed reading practice using a text about the most famous world market.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation and discussion in the context of the topic.
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Asking students about their favorit market to buy food. Applying Jigsaw Reading Strategy: -Dividing the class into 6 or 7 groups , 3 students in each.(depending on the presence in that day) -Appointing the leader of each group.
Dividing the text into 3 segments. Assigning each student to know her segment. Reading the questions p.40 no. 1 (a,b,c.d)
Giving students 5 minutes to read their segments.
Forming temporary expert groups by having the students of the same segment together in a group. Giving them 15 minutes to discuss the main points and ideas of their segments. Bringing the students back to their Jigsaw groups. Asking each student to present her segment to the group on 1 minute.
