To provide students the target language of the lesson and to clarify the modal verbs expressing obligations and permissions

To get students to construct the sentences using the TL and to have a short talk at the end of the lesson
Procedure (45-59 minutes)
Greeting students T will instruct students to look at two pictures and answer the following question? -What do these pictures mean? Students will discuss in group in 2 minutes ICQs Class feedback
Ss will do exercise 1( Cutting edge, Intermediate Student's book, p112) in two groups. Group 1 will make one or two rules for underlined places and Group do the same thing with not underlined places. Class feedback Then, T will get Ss to have a look at the pictures in handouts and ask them in which places above they would see them and what they mean. They will work in pairs Pair check
Ss will be engaged in a task on page 112; they will cross out the sentences that are not true about each sign. Ss will work individually and write their answers on the board one by one.
T will clarify the meaning of each sentence with grammar forms on the board whether they are obligation or permission. Ss will be provided some CCQs. T will get Ss to come up with some rules about their country and elicit some of them and then write on the board.
Ss will be given a controlled practice. They will complete the gaps with positive or negative form of the verbs in brackets. They will work individually. The student who will finish first will be given the keys to read them aloud.
Ss will be given a semi-controlled practice; they will complete the gaps with a suitable verb from ex 1 to make them true for their country. They will work in pairs Class feedback
Ss will work in groups. Each group will choose any two places and make a list of the most important rules for each. Then, each group read their rules, the other group will need to find a place
