in this lesson, I'm going to teach the difference between present perfect and present perfect continuous with matching and answering some questions and also the stress and pronunciation and for the last part, we going to do some speaking as a free practice.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-7 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students into the new stage of the lesson, using the dialog which will be connected with the exercise and lesson

I'm going to ask them about how was the international day and then engage them into the discussion then introduce them to since and for and then ask some questions with (how long has it) then starts my lesson.

exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

first, I'm going to put them into the situation using a timeline and let them use since and for with asking and checking each other's answers then I'm going to ask them to do the first exercise first alone then check with a partner

the students are going to look at some circulated pictures and write as many phrases and questions as possible, then they going to check with friends with asking a question with how long

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

the students are going to be asked to draw their timeline and then share it with the class.
