Procedure (35-45 minutes)
1. divide ss into one group and set them in one circles . 2. one player starts in the middle , standing up . 3. The player in the middle starts by saying ( great wind blows for everyone who…… ) and say any suitable statement . 4. all players who have the right answer must stand and quickly find a new seat . 5. if the player can’t find a new seat he or she is the new person in the middle.
Fan and Pick 1. Establish groups of four 2. Use the “role place mat” to assign roles to students. 3. Student A then fans out the cards and says, “Pick a card, any card!” 4. Student B chooses a card at random and reads it to the group. 3. Student C answers the question. 4. Student D either praises or coaches student C 5. The “role placemat” is rotated so that student A becomes student B and so forth, and the process is repeated. 6. Continue to repeat the process for your allotted time. Explain the structure to students and ask them to practice answering the following questions. These questions should each be printed on separate cards for this activity. Before displaying the questions on the projector, ask some ICQs to check they understand the task. Sample ICQs: SO, Are you going to work in pairs or groups? (groups) Who picks the first card? (Student B) Who answers the first question? (Student C) Who does student A do after the question is answered? (Passes the cards to student B) • Who is your best friend?
