To provide clarification of causatives in the context of having something done and getting someone to do something.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide a speaking and writing controlled-practice of the causative form

To provide practice of the causative through multiple exercises.
Procedure (58-77 minutes)
1- Greet students and ask them about their day and weather. 2- Ask them if summer sun is good or bad for our skin and appearance, Does it make us look older. 3- Ask them if we we can do any thing with these wrinkles and sunburn sweeping our faces. 4- Ask them if they have had a problem with their tooth and if they have tried to visit a doctor for it.Have you ever had the doctor check your tooth. Here I`m going to ask some questions about different situations that sb else does something for you , and asking them how a sentence like this can be made.
- Students are asked to answer complete few scrambled sentences. -Once done students are asked to check their answers with their partners. - Teacher does a whole class feedback.
- Teacher writes the presentation on the board. -Teacher explains the grammar with meaning and going through the form. -Teacher asks ICQs to check understanding of the grammar point.
SS work the exercises on page 28 in pairs. -SS check their answers with each others. -For Feedback, teacher does a whole class feedback. -Teacher compares the first test to the second one -Teacher checks all the exercise answers with students by asking them read one by one ( now this may sound a little old school but I found it quite useful while teaching the grammar moreover it brings interaction along.
SS are asked to write a paragraph using at least 2 casuative sentences within it and after they`re finished they`re asked to share it with the class by reading it aloud and while they are doing so teacher take notes on their mistakes and after each one is finished teacher is going to correct the mistakes they had
