Procedure

i won't use teacher's expressions like skim and scan and try to be as clear as possible

class profile • be aware of every single detail about my class

make interviews with my students there are 11 students in class, nine girls and two boys.they are between 21 and 32. they are participating in this class to improve the four skills ,listening,reading,speaking and writing.they show some progress in speaking,but they still need help with grammar.

anticipated proplems • to predict problems and provide soloutions

screen might not work.i bring my laptop and prepare printed pictures and hand outs

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • to set lesson context and engage students.

tell ss story about myself. ss guess the to show ss pictures of each story to think what is the story behind them.

Pre/Listening (3-5 minutes) • to preteach vocabulary /phrases to help them understand the text

show them pictures. elicit the vocabulary. check the concept. drill vocabulary. write them on the board.

While-/Listening #1 (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information listening tasks

ss listen to ex1 know who was happier at the end of the story,justin or helen. ss check their answers in pairs open class feed back

While/Listening #2 (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

show the students the questions about justin.they listen for his part.they answer the questions while i'm monitoring the class .they check their answers in pairs.i give key answers.ss listen to helen's part.they answer the questions,check answers in pairs,i give key answer

Post-Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

i devide ss into small groups .give them time to choose a topic it could be afunny or annoying incident,a holiday you remember,a party or a family celebration,a time you did something naughty and think how they will tell the story. give them two minutes thinking . ss use sentences like actually,i used to.....,really i liked.....,i never......, i still......
