In the Main Aim (Grammar System), learners learn about Subject Pronouns and Possessive Adjectives through group work based on using pronouns with verbs and nouns. The lesson starts with introduction of Subject Pronouns and Possessive Adjectives, this is followed by pairs work activity to check learners understanding. finally, these is some extra exercises on both Subject Pronouns and Possessive adjectives.

Main Aims

To provide Ss with clarification of Subject Pronouns and Possessive Adjectives in the context of Family so that they can be able to practice and speak accurate English.

To provide gist listening practice using a text about Family members in the context of Family

To provide gist listening practice using the tape about family members.
Procedure (32-45 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (7-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
I will ask the Ss to think about the stage before which talks about family members to take their attention.
Listening (10-15 minutes) • to activate the students knowledge and skills to listen and practice English.
I will ask students to listen to the tape and fill in the blanks from 1-5 page 25 exercise 8a. Then I replay the tape again to answer the following exercise 8b.
Grammar (15-20 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
I ask the Ss to complete the table with Subject Pronouns and Possessive Adjectives, then I ask them again to distinguish between V an N after I give them the rules. Later I recommend Ss to work in pairs to choose the best answer in the exercise N 10 Page 25. Finally Ss will be asked to work in groups to practice questions about people in their family.
