Procedure (37-49 minutes)
Ask them to look at the prompts from the previous page(76) Ss tell what they remember to their partner FB w/c
Ask them to underline the verbs in the past and find the answers with their partner. Ss work with their partner. fb w/c(answer key)
Show the handout on the board. clarify meaning, use timelines,CCQs,elicitation,form CCQs,elicitation model and drill
Ask them to complete the sentences. peer-check. FB w/c
Ask the Ss to write short answers to the Qs. Ask them to write in a different order. Encurage them to answer all the Qs. Show it on the board. Ss write short answers
Put Ss in pairs. tell them to swap papers. Ss work individually. Ss write yes-no Qs in the boxes on their partners' paper. Ask ICQs. refer them back to the don't forget! tell them not to speak. Ss work in pairs and ask each other the Qs. Encourage them to use the short answers. Ss put a cross if they get a positive answer in the box. ss continue asking yes-no Qs until all the words have been crossed out. Ss report back to class the most interesting things.
