Description

In this lesson, Students will learn some vocabulary about reading The lesson will start by TTT and students find the new vocabulary of reading. Then, it will continue by practice on the reading and students two by two or tree by tree word on reading and find new vocabulary after they should read the text and say summary .and each text of one group and should practice on it and say summary after should choose another group to say that summary again.at the end students will word on speaking and again in the group practice on questions of speaking and in the class each group ask the questions to another group .

Main Aims

  • To provide gist and detailed reading practice using a text about discuss acts of kindness and honesty in the context of kindness and honesty

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of discuss act of kindness and honesty

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

This is a Lead-in activity to activate the class at the start of the reading and student do student centered activity about skills word First, the teacher will pair the Ss and provide them with a HO of new words so Ss will get more engaged with find the meaning of words

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

At this stage, due to the fact that my focus is primarily on vocabulary related to reading I will give HO to students and they should find the meaning of them first they should read the text two by two and after they should find. HO is about new vocabulary of reading. i will check the answer that students find it and after students two by two read the text and say summary of text. and again choose another group to say that summary again

While-Reading (5-8 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

As a task to focus their attention on the functional language and follow the HO1 about reading text I will give them HO1 and after make students two by two they should read the text and find the meaning of new vocabulary after that should check the meaning of new vocabulary after that each text for each group and they should practice on the text and say summary and I will monitoring them after that each group should say the summary and choose another group to say that summary again. after that will word on speaking. and again make the group to practice on the speaking and ask to another group.

While-Reading (4-6 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

for this part of lesson students will learn some useful words which is related to the reading I will divide the Ss into two by two and I give them HO1 they will read the text and practice and the new words they should find the new words after that they should read the text again and say summary of the text after that should choose another group to say that summary again and say them summary too, after that I will work on speaking page and again I nominating group to ask question and choose another group to answer the questions

Post-Reading/Listening (4-7 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

ss will learn about text and new vocabulary of text first they should read the text and find the vocabulary after practice in text and say summary for feed back each group should choose another group to say that summary again. after will work on speaking related to reading ss two by two ask and answer the questions after I will nominating one group to ask questions to another group.
