In this lesson, Ss learn the use of superlatives.

Procedure (27-42 minutes)
Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • Introduce the theme of the lesson;engage the students.
Ss will watch a sketch of a famous turkish comedian Ss will talk a bit about the video..
Exposure (3-5 minutes) • Introduce the TL. Personalise the situation.
T will try to elicit the word "funniest" after Ss watch video. Ss will lookt at few more pictures and then T will try to elicit " most handsome" and " saddest".
Clarify TL (8-12 minutes) • Check Ss understanding of the concept. Highlight the form of the TL.
T explains the different forms of the Superlative Adjectives. Ss do a quick exercise . Ss check in pairs.
Controlled practice (5-10 minutes) • Assign independent classwork.
Ss will do another exercise. Ss work alone. Ss check in pairs.
Free practice (8-10 minutes) • Involve and give Ss the opportunity to produce TL.
Ss will do a fun activity to produce the TL. Ss work alone.
