By the end of the lesson, ss will have practised listening and speaking in an authentic context, talking about their last night-out with their friends.

Procedure (49-61 minutes)
Show three pictures of nights-out on the projector. Have students describe the photos "place, people, and feeling" Have them discuss in pairs if they have tried these places before and express their feelings then.
Give students HO of the questions that they need to answer during the listening task. Have them read the questions for thirty seconds before playing the audio track. Play the track once and have them answer the questions. Play it again if necessary. have them check their answers in pairs. Play the track one more time to check their answers. Show them the answer key and revise the confusing questions with them showing the transcript on the board.
Hand them a list of words that help to form questions in the past simple tense about a night out. Demonstrate the first and the sixth questions with them. Have them try to form the other questions. Have them check their answers in pairs. Play the track and have them check their answers accordingly.
Present yourself as an example and have them ask you questions about your night out. Have them start asking each other in a freer practice. Monitor to detect their errors regarding the target language.
Write the students' common mistakes and have them find out the errors. Correct the errors with them.
