Procedure (45-55 minutes)
I will prepare photos for the new vocabulary to be projected on the smart board where the I'm going to elicit form the Ss the name of each picture. TV show, TV Presenter, contestant, studio and director.
I will hand out the sheets on pages 162 (A) - 163 (B) to the students with the questions at the bottom already completed. I will be A and the Ss will be B. I will ask the Ss for example: "Where does Max live?". Ss will look in the sheet they have (B) and find the answer. Group A What does he do before breakfast? What time does he have breakfast? Who does he meet at 12:30? What time does he start the programme? What does he do after the programme finishes? When does he go to bed? What does he do on Sunday afternoon? What food does he like? Group B What time does he get up on Saturday? Where does he have breakfast? What does he do after breakfast? Where does he have lunch? What time does the programme finish? What does he watch on TV in the evening? What does he do on Sunday morning? Where does he go in the evening?
I will divide the Ss into pairs, A and B and ask every one to hide his/her piece of paper and ask an ICQ: Are you going to show your friend? The answer will be "NO". A will ask B about and get the answers from the information in the text about Max without writing. I will monitor the Ss and take some notes where I'm going to use later at the end of the lesson in the feedback and error correction stage.
I will hand out the sheet on page 35 of Ex. 11 and 12. I will model with my colleagues as if I'm writing some notes about my colleague as "I think". I will show the Ex. on the smart board and show Ss how i'm going to tick on the points that I think will be correct according to my guessing. In pairs, each one will think what his/her classmate likes. Then comes the third person saying: "I think She/He likes ........" Also, they can ask each others if there is something in common among them or they do not.
Based on the notes I wrote down, I will choose three correct answers and three wrong answers and write them on the board to show the difference and explain where are the mistakes and how to correct them. This will be through asking the Ss for corrections.
