Procedure (31-39 minutes)
1.Show a picture of a stressed person on the OHP. 2.Try to elicit the word stressed from ss by asking CCQs 1.Is he happy? No 2.Is he tired? Yes 3.Set the context of a stress levels in life.
1.Try to elicit the meaning of the words that might make ss do not understand the article. -Guide, canteen, pick up, cycle, babysitter ...I will clarify the meaning by using a picture on the OHD. 2.Give situational presentation about my life using some of the highlighted words in the article. .I wake up at 6:00 in the morning, I have to get dressed quickly, prepare my breakfast, walk for 15 minutes to catch the bus, it takes me 1 hour to go to my work, I have to stay there from 8:00 till 5:00. Come back home to do extra work assignments, then go to bed at 10:00. This is very stressful.
1.Ask ss to read the article to answer these questions. -How old is Luisa's son? (9 years old) -What does Louisa have for breakfast? ( a sandwich) -When does Luisa pick up George? (5:30)
