Sts look at the photos, read about three products that were presented on the show and answer the six questions. Sts compare answers with a partner and T elicits answers. In pairs, sts tell each other which product they would or wouldn't be interested in buying and why.T gets feedback. With a show of hands, they could find out if one product is more popular than another. Sts focus on two more products from the Dragons' Den and T elicits why they think each product is special and T plays the audio once for sts to listen and find out the answer. Sts listen again and answer the questions. T elicits answers.

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Sts in small groups of three or four have to imagine they are about to appear in front of the Dragons in the Den. They should look at the questions and think of their answers for their chosen products. Sts will have 3 minutes to present their product.
