Tell shortly about getting lost problem of people which rather happened before navigators.Like sometimes people could get lost because they may forget the adress or mobile phone can run out of battery etc. Ask questions to Ss Have you ever got lost? Ss discuss in pairs
Tell your real ``Getting lost` story shortly about you (I got lost in a village of Catalca and I couldnt find my way for 2 hours.And finally some villagers helped me go to the right place etc)
Write on the board some important words and clarify the main theme The words are Across Straight ahead To follow
Tell Ss to complete the 1st exercise Then tell about the important expressions like Excuse me,where is the... Is there a... near there/close to/nearby Could you tell me where is the...
Tell Ss to listen to the audio and complete the sentences accordingly.
Tell students to check the shopping mall map and ask questions using the stores etc there.
Ask from students to write 3 sentences about their story about getting lost
