Procedure (41-47 minutes)
Students look at a picture of Ian and Becky and in pairs discuss what the lesson might be about.
check for understanding of the following words and teach MFP where necessary: Every, sometimes, usually, not usually, early, late , tired, busy, together, fantastic.
students look at the following question on the board "Do Ian and Becky like or dislike their Sunday Routine?" Students read the script and answer the question in pairs.
On the board, show students to correct the wrong sentence and tick the true sentences. Students receive the question 3a handout and read it before reading the script again and answering the questions. Students check answers in pairs. (answer key on board)
Students look at the photo of Amy and her friend Bruce and read the general question. Elicit that Amy is Becky's sister and that she lives in California. Say that Bruce is Amy's friend, not her husband. Students listen to CD2.37 and answer the general question in pairs.
Students take a minute to read question 6 b. Ss listen again and answer in pairs. Students check answers in pairs from board.
Every students writes one WH question relating to Ian, Becky and Bruce's Sunday Routines and asks it to their partner. If there is time, students may swop partners and/or write another question. To remind students of question form from yesterday and start conversation write the following on board: When does ...? What does...? When do....? What do....?
