To provide clarification and practice of adjectives in the context of -ed and -ing.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide practice of adjective in the context of -ed and -ing through speaking activities.
Procedure (20-45 minutes)
-The T shows the pictures in the slide show and try to understand what the ss know about the usage of -ing and ed adjectives. -The wc talk about the pictures and discusses about them.
-The teacher distrubutes the exercises which the ss will find the meanings of the adjectives individually.When they finish,they check in pairs. -Then, the teacher gives the answer key in the slide show. -The ss check the answer and the teacher monitors and helps them.
-The teacher divides the ss into two groups. -The ss work in groups and discuss the questions. -Then the three students from each group change their places with each group. -Then, the ss explains their questions and anwers. -The teacher monitors and make notes while they speak. -When they finish, the teacher elicits the questions and answers with the whole class.
- The teacher shows the two questions ' Which ending is the used to talk about feelings? and 'Which ending is used to talk about the cause of feelings? -ed/-ing - The wc decides which one is right and the teacher also shows two pictures to clarify the -ed and -ing adjectives in the slide show. -Then, the teacher divides the ss into two groups. The ss look at the pictures and decide what the best adjective is. -Next, each groups will show their pictures and the other group will decide about the best adjectives. -The teacher drills some of '-ed/-ing adjectives.
-The ss complete the sentences individually and then unfold the paper to check the answer. -The teacher monitors.
-The teacher shows some pictures which the ss may not know in this exercise and drills them. -The ss complete the definitions with the correct form of the adjectives in pairs -The teacher monitors the ss. -The teacher presents the answer key and the ss check their answer in pairs.
- The teacher divides the ss into two groups and gives them four situations. Firstly, each group writes the best adjective to describe the situations and then each group change their situation cards and write how they feel in this situation.
