Procedure (45-59 minutes)
Ask: When was the last time you were ill? Where did you hurt? Make ss to name part of their bodies. Ss look at the picture and match words and body parts.
Ask: What do you do when you`ve got a cold? Do you go to work/ school, stay at home and rest or go to the doctor/ take some medicine? What do you do when you are ill? 2B Ss look at the words in the box and match them with photos of people. 2C Ss look at health problems in ex.2B & write them in the correct place in the table. Ss read & write missing words & phrases about health and then listen & check.
Ss read article about cold cures and answer questions. 5A/B Ss look at the sentences, underline the correct one to complete the rules and then compete the table.
Use should + Infinitive to give advice : You should take a medicine. & to recommend : You should see that film.
6A Ss look at health problems words and choose advice from the list with should/shouldn`t .
Ss look at the pictures and find what`s wrong with the people. Ss listen and find correct advice for the health problems. Ss listen and number the pictures Ss listen and find each person`s health problems
