Distinguish use of "on, at, in" prepositions when telling of time.
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Playing 'time' song while students situate themselves. Introductions, greetings through song. Date and weather discussed. Look at various images of clocks from projector (analog and digital).
Game identifying basic time on hour (ex. 9:00), half-hour, and quarter-hour. Clarifying meaning through question and answer and selecting the appropriate time.
Listening to the times and then enunciating them verbally. Taking turns asking times and answering the time in various cities stated on the page in text.
Writing times on paper from textbook and then transferring info onto board.
Writing answers on board after discussing with partner question/answers of 'On weekdays' 'in the morning' 'at 10 o'clock' etc.
