Procedure (15-25 minutes)
Focusing Ss on the photos on the board, T tries to use the word OK in some different situations and elicit its usage and meaning from the students. T uses body language to help students understand what OK means. T provides 5 examples and briefly explains the related meanings.
Ss read exercises 1a and 1b at page 15 and match them with each other. They will do the task in 3 min and then share their answers with the class. T will check if they are correct and give his feedback.
T asks Ss to practice exercise 1a in pairs and try to understand different meanings of OK in different situations.
T asks Ss to answer exercise 3a in pairs and then compare their answers with those of the other groups.
Ss use OK in 4 situations and read them to the class.
