Procedure (44-70 minutes)
T will show some pictures of different jobs to the ss and he will elicit from them what they see. T will then ask the about the best and they hardest job. - T's aim for this activity is to warm up students' speaking skill and set the lesson context and engage the ss
T will pre-teach some vocabulary which may cause difficulties for students to understand. T will use different methods of eliciting the vocabulary, such as, pictures, realia and examples. The following vocabulary are going to be elicited: -Jumper: (a picture) -Man in charge: ( a picture of a director) -Charming:( example) -Accountant:( a picture) -Blouse: ( a picture) - Skirt: ( a picture) -Tie( a picture) -Diary: ( a picture+ example) -Earrings: a picture
T will play a recording to ss related to the exercises 1&2 page 16. T will ask ss to do the exercises.
-T will play the recording again and will ask ss to listen carefully and answer the question in the recording T2.5. -WC FEEDBACK -After SS finish the exercise 2 and the recording T2.5, they will do the exercise 3 by matching a job from exercise 1 with a job description and a current project. -WC FEEDBACK
-T will ask ss to work in pairs by reading the conversation in exercise 4 aloud. After that, T will ask students to change the job in the conversation and use another one. -T will ask students to work in pairs and interview each other by asking about their jobs/ the job of somebody else they know and tell each other about it. T will monitor. - Delayed Feedback - T to Give questions to the ss about what they think is the best job in the world and why? - Another question will be asked if time allows ( What do you think of the salaries the employees receive in the country?)
