To provide practice of to migrate, to mov house, to see off, to be off in the context of recent traveling experience

To provide fluency speaking practice in a pair discussion about traveling experience in the context of traveling around a country, traveling abroad
Procedure (36-47 minutes)
T. plays the video 'traveling the world' ( 3 min) to get SS's attention and get them interested Last phrase of the video is a question ' Have you ever travelled ? ' So this will encourage SS to think about their last traveling experience SS have 2 min to talk about this question
Tell SS my own story about my migration SS listen and fill in the gaps with TL Then SS compare their answers in pairs T projects answers on w.b.
SS do ex1 p 28 matching to guess the meaning of TL from examples Change pairs Compare answers Show visuals for target vocabulary Elicit stress, part of the speech, drill with SS Use CCQs to check understanding of the meaning
Give SS sets of pictures and ask them to glue under the correct word SS are allowed to discuss but each of them should produce his or her one SS do ex 4 WB p17 in pairs to revise the meaning of TL T gives answer key Drilling and repetitions of TL ( points from a - h from the ex.)
SS do ex 2 p 28 SB and fill in the gaps with TL using the correct form SS swop their works T gives answer keys and SS check their partners works and give them back After checking T provides more whole class correction and drills some sentences from the exercise
SS do ex 3 a p 28 for free practice T change pairs T gives a chart from teachers book p 35 SS work on it They use questions from exercise 2 and they answers about themselves and they predict their partners answers SS talk together and complete the last column of the chart ( partner's answers ) Whole class feedback Teacher asks questions How many of their predictions did you get right? How well does your partner know you?
