The teacher starts the lesson by stressing on what Mohamed has taught about using "how much" by distributing pictures with different items on (rings, watches, cars...) and a number ( the price) on the back of each picture, students would be asking to mingle with each other to discover how much their classmates' items are. Highlighting the words "expensive", "cheap" is possible in this activity. Or Alternatively the teacher may ask the students to give away some of their stuff and try to sell them so they can practice the TL
The teacher asks the students to go to page 27 and look at the picture that shows three people and tries to elicit the titles of those people ( two customers and an assistant), then he asks the students to listen to find out what the customers order from the price list
The teacher asks the students to listen again but this time to find out about the amount of money (how much) the customers in the track have spent on their orders.
The teacher makes sure the students understand the new vocab, if they don't he tries to elicit the meaning by using his body language to get the students to say the meaning. Afterwards he instructs the students to use the new vocab to fill in spaces in pairs. They students are asked to come to the WB and and write their answers down.
The teacher explains that students are going to listen to the same track again, but this time he asks them to repeat, afterwards he asks the students to practice the same conversation in pairs.
The teachers direct the students to look again at the price list. Take turns to order their favourite food and drink,
The teacher divides the students into groups of three where two can be customers and the third is the assistant, he observes and corrects any mistakes
