Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Talk about the families of the class.Asking the students concept questions about their own families.The teacher want from the students to talk about the family tree of Robinson's.
Before listening make the students guess the words that are in the boxes and put them in the right places.Then make them listen the context and check if they are right.Then make them listen again this time for specific information . Make them listen the words and ask them whih of them are stressed.
Ask the students to tick the correct sentences and if it is not true change it with the correct one.Ask the students to complete the rule about the Possessive form and want them to identify the meaning.
The teacher asks students to listen for the stress and intonation not for words but for the sentences now.The teacher let the record run one more time this time the students will choose the right word for the 'choosing the correct word ' drill.The teacher writes the all sentences on board , run the record and the teacher marked the stressed sentences on the board.
You an ask your students to get a piece of paper and write 5 people in their families and want them to write their personalities and their characters.And the teacher can ask to elicit the 3 people from the list and take the two with you to a travel.And ask the question : 'who would you choose ?' The teacher wants the students to speak about them in turns and in pairs.
