Procedure (18 minutes)
lead in (2 minutes) • To arouse students interest in the lesson
To display a short video. The student should watch carefully to be able to answer the question? How life has changed during the years?
Exposure : (5 minutes) • to provide a model of the production language expected through the power point presentation
To show the students a presentation to present the target language
Clarification and language analysis of Present Simple (7 minutes) • To highlight and clarify the meaning ,form and pronunciation of present Simple and Past Simple
Teacher run the power point presentation and try to elicit the difference in meaning and form between the two tenses
Productive task (2 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target language skills
To ask the students to write 4 sentences expressing their past action and two sentences for present action
Feedback and error correction (2 minutes) • To provide feedback on Students production and use of language
To provide feedback on Students production and use of language. Hot error correction on spot while monitoring and listening to them use the language.
