Procedure (30-40 minutes)
The class starts with asking a question about traveling (the lesson is about ushuaia)the question is Do you like to travel other countries,why?I will tell students to talk about question in pairs.l will monitor the students while they are talking.after that they finished I will ask students to share their idea.
I will pre_teach 4 words from the text which they will read about the ushuaia.( The words:south, close to, light, summer).First I wil ask them to match the words with definitions then I will check the answers,after that I will focus on the function and get the students attention to the phonetice of each word. For solving the pronouncing problem of the words students will have repetition drill and ask them to read it.
I will ask the students to answer the question that is written on the board.(what is ushuaia like?)and skim the text(ICQ:should we read all text?,should we read all details?)then I will ask them to share their idea.
I will ask them to scan the text and find the answers of some detailed question that is written in the book(ICQ:should we read the whole text?If they talk with each other I will ask: should we talk with each other?)then I wanted the studebts to find the highlighted words and write them infront of their opposites in book(exercise)then I will tell them to check it in pairs .when students finish I will read thoes words and they will say the answers.
I am going to teach grammer via a situation so I need to tell ashort story about paris and I will write some question about it.then I will write about some words from the story on the board,after that I will ask students to guess the words and we will have repetition drill. Then I will write some questions on the board and highlighted the tobe verbs to show the word order in question(I will write different kinds of questions on the board)then I will give them controlled practice.And they will order the words . then students will have a disscution about their Ideal traveling(question:which country will you travel in your future?)
