Procedure (35-45 minutes)
The students will look at a picture of my wedding day then. -Elicit that it is a wedding. -Elicit that the wedding is a life event because it changes your life. -Elicit other life events that they may know.
-Will tell them a story of one of my friends through pictures so that I can elicit the most important life events for her. -Elicit some differences between words like " split up- get divorced" " move house" " leave home" -Drill and emphasis on the pronunciation and stress of every phrase
-Students will categorize the words according to their type in groups. -Check for each other. -Provide key answers. -Students will try to put them in the logical order and discuss the differences because it can vary.
-Students work in pairs to discuss which one of the life events they have done and what they haven't done.
-Students will answer a quick quiz about life time events. -Students will add the article "a" if it is needed in the phrase. -Students will choose the words that don't take get. -students will match the verb with the noun or adjective. -Students will choose " to-with-from" to fill in the blanks. -students will check in pairs after each exercise then the teacher will provide model answers.
