Procedure (45-45 minutes)
T asks ss if voluntourism is popular and what project are possible to be enrolled in ( planting trees, farming, etc.), it is difficult or not, and says that they are going to learn more about voluntourism routine from bloggers.
T -gets them to look at the blogs ang pictures and answer 3 questions: 1. Who is the author and where he/she from? 2. Where is he/she on holidays as a volunteer? 3. What he or she is doing there. In groups They read quickly to find out if their answers were correct or not.
T sets the task to read and check their answers in groups. T sets task to read and do True /False task. Feedback in groups, compare the answers with the key.
T sets task to read the text again and find answers for the questions ex. 4a p26 Then they check the answers into the group.
T forms new pairs consisiting of a student from group A and a studen from group B, they should answer each other's question (ex4a p.27), Then they go another parnter from the another group, should close their books and tell about her/his blog's author according to the plan:place, work, where he/she stays in and meals, free time activities.
Teacher gives to each student a destination ( volunteer project) for voluntourism description ( 3 different, randomly). If there is at least 6 students they can work in pairs, they prepare the presentation for the destination( volunteer project). The books are closed
Students tell in class about the projects, the whole class should vote the most popular. holiday destination. The teacher can ask to discuss questions like pros and cons voluntourism, what kind of persons the volunteers are, if the ss would like to be volunteers, if so what kind of work they could do and where would they go.
T sets the error correction task and praises for good language.
