T asks ss general questions about family relationships .then specifically about husband-wife relationships. Elicit from students till they mention tension or problems.
T asks three volunteers to come to the board .tell them they are going to play the role of husband ,wife and a lawyer . T hands out sheets and asks ss to listen to the conversation between them and one group will write what the husband and wife say ,another group will write what the lawyer reports. T demonstrates ,then checks his instructions. ICQs ss play the roles meanwhile others jot down what they say. Ss will exhange their papers for checking how the speech was and how it was reported. Twrites some direct and reported sentences on the board.
T explains the task and makes his instructions clear.(read the questions and do as shown).T demonstrates by doing the first sentences . Every student will work by himself ,then ss will check in pairs.T hands out an answer key.
T hands out a grammar sheet .ss will fill it with the changes that occur from direct speech to reported speech.*tenses*subject pronouns *object pronouns *possessive adj*time expressions( group work) then groups exchange papers for checking then T hands out an answer key. T analyses the target language and clarifies it on the board.
Just like the first cued dialogue ,students will be divided into groups of three and play the role of two neighbours arguing and a mediator in between. T monitors and takes notes for further correction.
