Description

In this lesson, the Ss learn about negative prefixes for adjectives through some target language exercise, ending up with a speaking activity in which the Ss also use some useful phrases to go along with this activity.

Procedure

Lead - in (3-5 minutes) • To introduce the lesson and create interest in the lesson.

I will talk about disaggrements with my best friend. There are times we think about things in general differently.Then I ask the Ss ; " Do you have the same or similar situation like this with someone you know?" I will gather a few responses. Discussion. S-S FB

Listening Practise (3-7 minutes) • Prediction /Guessing

I will introduce Ex.1 by showing these words on board : "the football", "the weather", "watersports", "romantic walks along the beach", "the shopping". I will ask learners ; "Who do you think usually talk about these topics?" "Children?, young adults?, girls?, men? or women?" I will collect some ideas from learners. Later, I will play the listening part to see how correct their assumptions. FB.
