Procedure (42-57 minutes)
How many sports can you write on the board? Divide The board into parts. Set Ls in groups Ls write as many sports as they can. Each group member has to write one word in his or her turn. Repetition is not allowed. Set a limit duration. The winner group is that has more words
Ask Sts to look at the pictures and tell what they can see. Ask them to tell complete sentences. Encourage all the class to respond to the task by asking everyone
Ex.B Listen and tick the music you hear. First, ask Sts to have a look on the items of music written in this exercise. Then, T tells them that they listen to identify the kind of music. After that, they listen and tick the music while they are listening. Check Orally.
Give Sts HO in which they fill in the table about: kinds of music, music instruments and verbs that can be used e.g.play the lute, play the piano......etc
The interview is about a music questionnaire. Ls do it in pairs. They exchange roles . One asks and the other answers. For example: S1 What kind of music do you like? S 2 Pop Note: 1-Before doing the task, Ls have to fill in the questionnaire solo 2- It is better to give a model with a student in front of the class.
1-Ask volunteers to do their interview in front of the class. 2- Ask Volunteers to talk about themselves using the information they write down For example; I like............but I don`t like ........... I can.................etc.,
Ask a volunteer to talk for 30 seconds about music This will be done in case I have enough time as this is an additional activity.
