Show the students a bag containing many items such as toothpaste, rice, soap, ... Ask the students about each item: Is this countable or uncountable ? If it is uncountable, ask students: How can we make it countable ?

Students listen to a recording and fill in the gaps. After that, they check in pairs. Stick answer keys on the wall so that students stand up and correct their mistakes.
