To provide fluency speaking practice in a discussion in the context of cities
Procedure (41-53 minutes)
-Teacher shows students the pictures of three different buildings and ask the which one is higher and which one is the highest. -Then teacher shows pictures of different cities and asks which one is the most crowded.
-Teacher posts pictures of five cities and numbers from 1 to 5. -Teacher then asks students to predict match the numbers to cities according to size of populations.
-Teacher delivers handouts that contains the task about the first listening script. -First, students take a look at the task. -Students listen and complete the task.
-Teacher provides feedback
-Teacher writes the new vocabularies of the listening on the board and shows the definitive pictures to students
-Teacher divides students into three groups (Tokyo, Mumbai and Mexico). -Every group reads the text that has the same name as their's. -Students then try to predict what the speakers of the tape script are going to say. -Students write their opinions on the board.
-First, students take a look at the task -Students in three groups listen to the speakers (E.g. Group Tokyo listens Makiko) and complete the task.
-Teacher provides feedback after listening task.
-First student take a look at the task. -Then students listen the tape script one more time and complete the task. -Students compare their answers.

-Students in groups compare their cities with New York, Istanbul and Shanghai (Tokyo with New York, Mumbai with İstanbul, Mexico with Shanghai
