Show sts the picture on the right of the book and ask them if the man is happy? Get their feedback as a whole-class. Then project the questions of the Vocabulary Section Part B on the board and tell them to discuss the questions in pairs. Monitor them as they go along with their activity. Take notes of the good statements. Set the time limit for it, you can stop them if time is up. You can share the good the statements or just move on with the Vocabulary part.
Before going with the activity. Show some pictures representing the vocabulary and ask the students to discuss and match the vocabulary items to the pictures in pairs. Nominate students for the answers then show the answers.
Tell students they are going to fill in the blanks in Vocabulary section 1A. Get them in different pairs. And set the time. Students then should check their answers with the pairs sitting next to them and discuss their answers. Show the answer key in the end. Ask if they have any questions. You can drill all of the vocabulary items and ask where the stress falls, and correct their pronunciation.
Tell students that they are gonna watch a video about regrets and pair them up. Pair each student as A and B. Then tell Bs to leave the classroom until the activity is over. Tell As to take as many notes as they can because they will summarize the whole listening to their partners. After the video is over call Bs into the class. Then As should start telling Bs about the videos content in 2 minutes. After that give 3 minutes to Bs to do activity 2A in their books. As can't help them! Project the answers to the board and ask who got a full point. :)

Get the students in pairs. Tell them that they are going to read the Reading text about regrets but after each paragraph they have to close their books and discuss the paragraph and summaries it to each other for only 1 minute. Give students 13 minutes to read and discuss. Then project activity B on the board and ask all the students to stand up and do mingled speaking discussing the questions according to the text for 5 minutes. Monitor them as they speak and if they make any mistakes you can correct them without interrupting their conversation, so it could be a delayed error correction.
