Procedure
I will ask students to watch the video (talking about present continuous) and ask them (what they are doing?).
I will ask the students about three sentences what are the verbs? and underline.I will see if anyone knows the name of the tense. I will tell them it is the present continuous.
I will write sentences about the tense on the whiteboard.
I will focus on the meaning through the sentences
I will ask them to listen to me and repeat after me.
I will write the sentence on the whiteboard. and I will elicit the form from the students.
I will give them exercise about the tense. (write the verbs in the present continuous)
I will ask them to check in pairs. then, we discuss together.
I will ask them to look at the pictures and tell me ( who are talking on their mobiles. Do they look happy or not?
I will teach students some of the vocabularies. chat laugh uniform
I ask them to listen to the record (exercise 2) listen to their conversations and answer the questions.
I will ask them to listen to the recording and elicit what should go into the gaps.
I will ask students to use a mini dictionary to check the spelling of these-ing forms and( ex 2 ) I will ask them to work in pairs. Ask and answer about the photos below. (ex 3) (make true sentences for you. Then compare with a partner.
