Procedure (39-52 minutes)
Teacher projects some pictures of activities and talks about the activities that he can do or he can't do. then asks Students to talk about them in pairs.
- Teacher gives hand outs from the course book and asks Students to read it from the course book -Teacher projects some pictures and describes them to students.
- Teacher clarifies the meaning by explanation and gestures and visuals. - Then he asks CCQs. - Is it difficult for him to play football? No -Does he know how to play football? Yes -is he he able to football? Yes -Is swimming difficult for him? Yes -Does he know how to swim? No -Is he a swimmer? No - Teacher writes the form on the board - Teacher project a part of the course book and explains conjugation on the board. -Teacher explains that we use can for offers (Can I help you?), and requests( Can you give me the book? Can I have the bill please?) - Teacher gives another HO to the students - Students listen to cd and teacher asks them to pay attention to CAN and CAN'T
- Teacher gives HOs to the Students. - teacher asks students to stand up and find six people and write their names next to the activity that they can do.. Then teacher asks them them to read them to their friends. Teacher asks some sentences from 2 or three Students.
-Teacher gives HOs to the students. - Teacher asks students to write 3 true sentences and 3 false sentences about themselves. - Teacher asks Students to work in pairs and read their sentences to their partners and guess it is true or false -Teacher ask some students to read their answers to the class as WCFB feedback.
-Teacher will help the students with their problems and will help them use the corect form by using examples and clarifying on the board.
