Procedure

Lead-in (5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- T shows Ss some slides including some good and bad manners and elicits the topic from the WC. T also asks some other questions about the pictures. -Then, T tries to personalize the topic by asking this questions," Are these things important or not in your own community?". -Ss in pairs discuss the aforementioned question very briefly and the T gets some FB.

Pre-Listening (8-10 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

-T firstly gives Ss a HO to complete. In fact, T pre-teaches some words at this stage. -Then, she gets FB and comes up with the right answer and asks for reasons. -To make sure everyone has learnt the words, T tries to ask some CCQs to consolidate the meanings.

While-Listening #1 (6-7 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

-T shows the WC a new HO and gives them clear instructions- Ss are supposed to listen to an audio and answer only one question on their own. -Then, T asks Ss to check their answer and try to justify their answer. Then, she gets FB.

While-Listening #2 (7-8 minutes) • To provide Ss with more challenging detailed listening listening task

T shows a HO including some True and False questions and asks Ss to listen to the track and answer the questions. T asks Ss to compare the answers in pairs and collect the answers. As feedback T asks the reasons for the answers. -In case Ss don't understand the audio fully well, there are two possibilities whether T gives them the audio script to simplify the task or she can play the audio one more time again. It's a kind of anticipated problem.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

In this stage Ss will be shown a HO including 4 questions. They are going to use the audio script and find the answers individually. They will be given time. T asks them to compare the answers in groups. T collects the answers and reasons as feedback.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

T shows a HO to students, including different questions. T asks Ss to discuss the questions in pairs. T gives time and hands out the task.5 m T monitors and takes note. T gets FB and does delay error correction.
