Procedure
PW group students into pairs Display image 1 on WB and Ask what the image is and elicit answers for holiday.Think of three places tourists go to in your country. what do they do there?. Students to discuss answers in pairs.
I ask students to match words with their sentences and after they finished.I Will ask them to check in pairs.I will pronounce every word.
I will ask students to read a report for gist and Alexsquestionnaire( ex a), and I ask them to answer the questions.and I will ask them to check in pairs.
I will ask students to focus on the questionnaire.Go through the questions, and point out that the answers are not a complete sentence.I will explain any expression Ss don't understand ex, walked around, special atmosphere, cross the road.
Ask students to read the report and compare it with the questionnaire answers. Have students underline the words that have been added to make the answers into a text, in paragraph I went...With......We flew to Rome with.
I ask Ss to make notes about their last vacation, using the questionnaire answers as a model.then I will ask them to write the report in class or assign it for homework.
Give Ss extra oral practice by having them interview each other with the questions.
