Procedure (36-48 minutes)
T gives students HO1 and ask them to find three possible words from these letters T do an example on the board. T gives one letter if he/she find that the task is too difficult for them. T asks students to compare their answers. T gets some answers from students and give whole class feedback. T tells students that today's lesson is all about these three words (Who, Which, That)
T gives students HO2 and ask them to do the mini test. T model one sentence. T asks ICQs; What are we doing? a test. Are we working in pairs? No, individually. Are we going to write or circle the correct answer? Circle the correct answer. T sets time limit of 7 minutes. T gives students the answer key and asks them to count their correct answers and grade themselves according to a scouring system at the end of their handout. T circulate and see the result and tell students that there is no need to share it with other.
T gives students a HO and asks them to circle the correct picture. T asks students to justify their answers. T gives whole class feedback. T explains on the board when to use (Who, which and that) T gives students another handout and ask students to match the words to their usage e.g. Who ............ refers to a person... etc. T asks students to compare answers. T gives whole class feedback.
T gives students another handout (Test2) and asks them to decide if these sentences are ture or false. T asks students to check their answers with a peer. T gives whole class feedback.
T divides students into groups of three. T gives each group a set of words and asks them to choose one person from their group and stick one word on his/her forehead then asks them to give definition using one of the following starts A. It is a thing ......,B. It is somebody .......,C. It is an animal....... T tells students that they should use (Who, Which, or that) in their definitions. T models one example with a student. T asks ICQs. How many people are in each group? three Are we going to show the words? No T circulate and give immediate feedback or error correction if needed.
